Biography

Freeda SabaCurrently , the news producer and television commentator on IRTV program, KSCI Channel 18, Los Angeles (the first Iranian Television program in US, broadcasting weekly news digest with political analysis, interviews and cultural programs, in Farsi language since 1980).

Freeda Saba is an active supporter and member of many human rights organizations. She has served in the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and worked in various UN projects for resettlement of Afghan and Iraq Kurdish women & children refugees, from 1986 to 1990.

Freeda Saba has a passion for poetry and is a published poet and free lance writer. She holds a Doctorate degree in Jurisprudence from University of West LA, a Master degree in Communications, TV & Radio Productions from Temple University, Philadelphia & Indiana University, Bloomington, and BA in Journalism. Freeda Saba has written & produced more than 30 television short biographies on works & lives of dignitaries in Persian arts & culture.
